ABOUT IUC
The Inter University Centre Dubrovnik is an independent center for advanced study founded in 1972. The mission of the IUC is to promote international co-operation between academic institutions throughout the world through an international network of partner universities. The IUC is structured as a consortium of universities and other scientific institutions and organizes courses and conferences with topics ranging from all scientific disciplines provided by scientific staff from member institutions and their partners. IUC is located nearby the Dubrovnik historical center, at the address Don Frana Bulića 4. The building has a large conference hall which can accommodate 110 participants, 7 classrooms, a room for tele- conferences, two cabinets and a library. A computer room with internet connection and printer is also available for the participants of courses and conferences organized in the IUC.

ABOUT CAAS
Centre for Advanced Academic Studies (CAAS) was founded by the University of Zagreb as a public academic institution for international scientific programs and postgraduate studies. CAAS is managed by the University of Zagreb. CAAS is located in the same building as the IUC and has a dormitory with a total of 56 beds on the third floor of the building. The dormitory is intended for the participants of the DIM ESEE school during the course duration. The cost of the accommodation is included in the tuition fee.

ARRIVING TO DUBROVNIK BY PLANE
The airplane will arrive to the Čilipi airport. From the airport you can reach the location of the IUC by taxi (approximately 35 euros in one direction) or organised transport provided by IUC (the price is 35 euros for up to 3 persons or 50 euros for a van, up to 7 persons). Transfers are paid directly to the driver, with cash or credit card. All interested in an organised transport should contact office@dormitory.hr in advance to secure their spot.
ARRIVING TO DUBROVNIK BY BUS
The main bus station in Dubrovnik is located in the Gruž area. Apart from taxis, there are buses available that drive to the Pile area (local bus lines 1A and 1B). You can check the schedule of the buses on the local transportation website.
ARRIVING TO DUBROVNIK BY CAR
If you are coming with your own car please note that the IUC does not offer parking places and that free parking spots are very hard to find in Dubrovnik.
