With the second year of DIM ESEE project implementation in full swing, a project partner meeting was organized in St. Lambrecht, Alpine region of Austria to discuss the School preparation. Following the project partner meeting, and industry workshop was held with the goal of drafting a schedule for this year’s School.
University of Zagreb – Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in collaboration with project partners from Montanuniversität Leoben organized a two-day event on the 11 th and 12 th of April in Austria’s Alpine region. The event was a preparatory activity for this year’s Dubrovnik International ESEE Mining School that will be held in Dubrovnik from 15 th do 20 th October. The first day was intended for project partner coordination in order to establish a draft schedule and program for this year’s topic Deep intelligent mining.
The second day was focused on the participation of industry partners from Austria that gave valuable insight and comments on the program and the topic of Deep intelligent mining. Representatives of seven companies from Austria participated, while some of them are even prepared to join this year’s School as lecturers.
